Bentley University student stabbed inside residence hall
A male Bentley University student was stabbed early this morning inside the university's Fenway Residence Hall, and two women were arrested, Bentley officials said in a statement today.
The victim's injuries were not believed to be life threatening. He was taken from the dorm shortly after 3:30 a.m. to a nearby hospital.
Two women who are not students at the school are in Waltham Police custody and will face arraignment in Waltham District Court later today.
Bentley authorities said the attack was not a random act of violence, stressing the two women and the man knew each other and there was not a threat to anyone else on the campus.
