the amazing thing isn't that this dude had a live missile strapped to his boat for over a week. the amazing thing is that he had almost been blown to shit before, and still went back. excerpts below:

Salomon tied the missile to the top of his boat, the Bold Venture, and kept it there for the rest of the 14-day fishing trip. He brought the missile ashore Monday evening along with his 5,000 pounds of grouper.
Salomon found the missile about 50 miles south of Panama City, the part of the gulf is used by the U.S. Air Force and Navy for weapons testing and training.
Salomon said he often sees missiles while fishing in that area. "I hear them exploding over my head all the time." In February 2008 one landed 10 yards from his boat and exploded.
"It was a big explosion," he said. "It's ridiculous."
