LA passes law limiting roosters to 1 per household
LOS ANGELES (AP) - The chickens have come home to roost for Los Angeles city dwellers who keep roosters. 
The City Council on Tuesday passed an ordinance that—with few exceptions—allows only one rooster per property. It was spurred by complaints over noise and hygiene and concerns over illegal cockfighting.

I hope other cities will follow. Chickens are better than other pets in some ways. Roosters remind us of the country and a simple life in a big load city of lawnmowers, trucks, cars, planes and more dog yapping world. Rooster and Hens are just as noisy if not less than any dog or other pets in the city, day or night but chickens kill bugs and clean under flower beds and shrubs and they give back Poop. Not as bad as a dog. We care and clean after them like any pet we care for. Breeding is fun for show only, baby chicks are cute. They give back eggs and more: Save a Chicken from the abuse from farmhouses. Roosters live with a bad name as soon as they are born then killed and hens are kept in small cages in those houses. Chickens are the #ONE fowl in the World. We should have some in our back yards because they help the world to go GREEN. Concerns over illegal fighting. Most of us are good caretakers over our pets we care for. The Law breakers fight:
